TRAINING FOR EVERYONE

Expanding Skills in the Third Sector

OUR CONCEPT

Developing Skills

The third sector has historically exhibited inconsistency in offering comprehensive training to support workers, volunteers, and other organizational staff, necessary for achieving the high standards expected by the organization, the Care Inspectorate, and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

At Skillspace, our primary objective is to deliver rigorous, engaging, and contemporary training that remains cost-effective. Our training portfolio encompasses essential courses such as First Aid for Mental Health, Medication Handling, and Child and Adult Safeguarding. Furthermore, we offer specialized sessions that delve into nuanced topics such as boundaries, the practical application of SSSC Codes, and the development of competencies to effectively address behavioral excesses and deficits.

Our commitment is to empower individuals within the third sector with the knowledge and skills they require to excel in their roles, meet regulatory expectations, and contribute positively to the well-being of service users and the overall mission of their organizations.
